27 March 2007 - Actiforce launch new service scheme.

Actiforce Limited have launched a new initiative to provide routine and preventative maintenance schemes to all types of vehicle wheel wash system. Wheel wash systems are often overlooked and maintained only on a "fix it when it breaks" basis which normally leads to high emergency repair costs and downtime. Actiforce aim to reduce overall operating costs by carrying out a Routine Maintenance Scheme (RMS) which will highlight and eliminate potential faults before they occur, by assessing customer equipment a plan can be devised to suit site operations which will include a schedule of engineers visits and procedures. Experience has shown that routine site visits and preventative maintenance measures increase productivity and greatly reduce downtime, repairs and operating costs. The Actiforce RMS scheme is available to customers with all types of system and starts at only £60 per month.

February 2007 - Re-commissioning at Pilsworth

Actiforce were called in to re-commission the Eurowash 2600 at Pilsworth landfill site. Originally designed by Peter Clifford of Actiforce, the system had washed in excess of 1,500,000 trucks before being stood down as the landfill phase was completed in 2005. Lynx Euro management secured the contract to complete the capping and landscaping of the site and called Actiforce to see whether the wash system could be utilised. Following a full appraisal it was evident that only minor repairs were necessary and within 2 days the system was in full use with a throughput of 100 - 150 trucks per day.
